Partnership provides possibilities

South England Exchange Ltd. (SEE) was founded in 2015 by Juliet Cassells, who previously managed one of the largest student exchange organisations in Germany for many years. The extensive experience of enabling thousands of young Germans to experience state (J1) and private schools (F1) as well as internships and au-pair stays in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Japan, France put SEE in a unique position to understand and respond to the needs and challenges of educational agencies around the world. Juliet’s experience as head of an international school in Frankfurt and as a boarding school teacher also gave SEE special opportunities to combine educational travel and schooling.

In 2021, SEE founded South England International School (originally known as BIS) in order to be able to offer students access to an affordable private school and the opportunity to study subjects which are particularly relevant to them. From the beginning, priority was placed on SEI students learning alongside British students, whilst being able to meet the academic requirements from their home countries. It was also recognised that our students love to live in a big city, take part in many school activities and be able to travel around the country at weekends.

A third company joined the group in 2022. Cultural Experience England Ltd. (CEE) now runs the cultural immersion programmes previously offered by South England Exchange. CEE programmes benefit from the structures of BIS and SEE, ensuring that post Brexit immigration requirements for the programmes are met.

South England International School is regulated by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (OFSTED).

Cultural Immersion England is regulated by the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students (AEGIS).

“Leaders provide support for every student. Their excellent induction work ensures each student feels safe and settled in new surroundings. Leaders carefully match students to host families and plan a bespoke curriculum for each young person”.
